We are delighted to announce The Garden Room at Syon Park as the Winner of the Best Large Venue award at the UK Event Awards 2012!

The Awards Ceremony was held on Friday 23rd November at the Emirates Stadium in London, and was attended by 250 industry professionals. Guests enjoyed a Champagne reception followed by a three course dinner and phenomenal entertainment from Abandoman before the ceremony itself began.

Nominated in two categories (Best Large Venue and Most Unusual Venue) we had some stiff competition from venues around the UK, being up against The Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire, Dartington Hall in Devon and Tower Bridge, London.

About the UK Event Awards

The UK Event Awards recognise and reward the leaders of the events industry. The awards are open to event organisers, suppliers, marketers, venues and more. Judges include prestigious figures from the industry, including Paul O’Neill, VP Creative, Guiness World Records, who brings with him 20 years of experience in live events and experiential marketing, covering creative direction, operations, writing, directing and producing. Another judge is Managing Director of Zibrant, Fay Sharpe. Sharpe also has 20 years of experience working in hotels, hospitality, event management and venue sourcing, as well as Iain Edmondson of London & Partners, Hampton Court Palace’s Jo Jennings and Lynn Lester of The Drum.

We have had a record summer season at The Garden Room this year, playing host to countless weddings, some fabulous corporate events and of course the Salon Privé 2012 exclusive car show and now we’re looking forward to another great year in 2013, as the UK Event Awards’ Best Large Venue.
